MV-RAD SELECT Electric Torque Wrench Tool Features:

The MV-RAD optionally includes a Bolt Check feature. This function verifies if a previously tightened bolt remains within torque specifications without applying additional torque. If adjustments are needed, the tool automatically tightens the bolt to the correct torque and indicates the required rotation. This feature is particularly effective when paired with the Smart socket™.

Operating on 230V or 115V power, the MV-RAD is versatile and operates at a quiet 80 dB. Each wrench comes fully calibrated in a storage case, including a reaction arm, calibration certificate, and user manual.

Compact and lightweight, the MV-RAD automatically stops when the preset torque is reached and the torque arm is released. Its pistol grip houses a membrane keypad and OLED display. The handle rotates 360 degrees for optimal user comfort.

Key features include torque settings in Nm increments, an angle function, and optional Bolt Check. The tool delivers precise and repeatable torque control within ±3%.

Electric torque wrenches are highly accurate, with most models offering a precision level of Β±2-5% of the set torque value. Advanced digital models often include feedback systems for real-time accuracy and can log data for quality control. Regular calibration is essential to maintain this level of precision over time.

A torque gun is a power tool designed to apply specific torque to fasteners. Here's how it operates- Power Source- The gun is powered electrically, pneumatically, or hydraulically to drive a motor. Torque Control- Users set the desired torque value on the tool or an external controller. Operation- The motor drives a gear mechanism to apply torque to the fastener. Torque Limitation- When the preset torque is reached, the tool stops automatically or disengages the drive to prevent over-tightening. Torque guns are widely used in industries requiring high levels of accuracy and repeatability, such as automotive, construction, and energy.

An electric torque wrench works as follows- Motor Activation- A motor generates the force needed to tighten or loosen fasteners. Torque Setting- The user sets the desired torque value on the tool’s digital or manual interface. Torque Application- The wrench applies torque through its drive mechanism until the preset value is reached. Feedback- The tool provides visual or audible signals (e.g., lights or beeps) to indicate that the desired torque has been applied. Electric torque wrenches often include features like data logging, torque-angle measurement, and Bluetooth connectivity, making them suitable for precision-driven applications.

Set the Torque Correctly- Always adjust the torque wrench to match the required specifications for the task. Use the Tool Properly- Apply torque in a smooth, steady motion, and never use the wrench for purposes other than tightening to the set torque. Calibrate Regularly- Ensure the wrench is calibrated at least once a year or after heavy use to maintain accuracy and reliability.
