Subsea Tensioners

The Subsea tensioner includes visible piston stroke indication, a positive over-stroke stop to prevent piston expulsion/seal damage, and anti-slip cylinder surface for improved handling. These features contribute to diver safety and operational efficiency.

The Subsea tensioner is designed to cover a bolt range from M20 to M100 (3/4" to 4"), providing versatility for various subsea applications.

The Subsea tensioner is designed to fit BS1560/ANSI B16.5/API flanges, as well as most compact flange designs, ensuring compatibility with industry-standard flanges.

The Subsea tensioner has a piston stroke of 30mm (1.2") except for SST1, which has a 20mm (0.8") stroke. The maximum tool pressure is 1,500 bar (21,750 psi), ensuring effective tensioning capabilities.

Bolt protrusion above the nut is addressed with a chart specifying stud protrusion requirements. The D dimension includes an allowance for tool removal after bolt tightening with a 30mm (1.2") tool stroke.
